Get your school community involved this March and stand up for the 1 in 200 Australian children living with epilepsy. The Purple Schools Challenge is a fun, flexible way for students, teachers and families to learn, fundraise and show their support - all while turning your school purple.

Whether you love a messy challenge or prefer a creative approach, there’s a way for every school to take part.

Ready to Muck Up for Epilepsy? Put a playful twist on the Purple Muck Challenge by setting fundraising milestones and watching the muck fly.

  • Raise $500 and muck a teacher
  • Raise $1,000 and muck your Principal
This high-energy challenge is a great way to motivate students, boost participation and create a moment your school will never forget.

Download a copy of the purple muck recipe, as well as other helpful materials, on our Resources page.

Not keen on the muck? No problem. Schools can choose a purple-themed activity that suits their community and fundraising goals.

Ideas include:

  • Purple dress-up or free dress day
  • Purple bake sale or sausage sizzle
  • Purple sports day, fun run or walk
  • Classroom challenges, assemblies or art activities
However you choose to participate, every purple action helps raise awareness and vital funds for epilepsy support services.
