Hero Mission: I’m saving the day this March for the 270,000 people in Australia facing the challenges of epilepsy by participating in Make March Purple.
In October 2023, Nina and Danny's life took a little detour when their 5 year old, Luca had his first seizure at school. What followed was weekly tonic clonic seizures, eventually diagnosed as epilepsy in December and medication commenced in January 2024. We consider ourselves the 'lucky' ones - Luca has gained full seizure control with twice daily Keppra and has not had a seizure since May 2024. But thousands remain uncontrolled (1 in 3!) and Epilepsy Action is an amazing support for those affected by epilepsy, their families as well as healthcare workers and educators. Help us continue their good work by donating this March.
