Fundraising Goal: Cold Plunge Challenge for Epilepsy Awareness

I am taking the cold plunge challenge for each of the 10 years I have been living with epilepsy. This symbolises not just my personal journey but also the strength and resilience that countless others with epilepsy embody daily.

These past 10 years have been incredibly challenging, at times. At my worst, I experienced nearly 10 seizures a day, a loss of control that felt akin to being submerged in icy water - frightening and overwhelming. However, just like the cold plunge, I have learned to embrace this reality, finding peace in the chaos and strength in vulnerability.

The sensation of cold water enveloping me is a powerful reminder of the vital force of life and the importance of gratitude. Each moment in the cold reinforces my commitment to living fully and purposefully, appreciating every precious day I have, and more importantly, my friends and family.

Through this challenge, I aim to raise awareness and funds for epilepsy research and support. Your contributions will help improve the lives of those affected by this condition, bringing us closer to a future where epilepsy can be fully understood and effectively treated.
